Save-the-date – The Future is Heritage Summit 2022
From the 24th of September to the 27th of September 2022 The Future is Heritage Summit will take place in Prague. This three-day event is organised by The Future is Heritage (FisH), an international network of young people working in the field of heritage. Students and young heritage professionals are invited to join us at The Future is Heritage Summit.
Brainstorms, discussions and excursions
During this three-day event we will address important themes relating to the field of heritage in Europe. In a variety of lectures, workshops and discussions we will discuss heritage and conflict, heritage and inclusion and examples of contested heritage. The event will be hosted semi-parallel to the annual European Cultural Heritage Summit organized by Europa Nostra and its partners. On several occasions the participants of The Future is Heritage Summit will be present at the activities of the European Cultural Heritage Summit.
Concerning the network The Future is Heritage
The Future is Heritage is an international network of young professionals, students, volunteers, and heritage enthusiasts in Europe. It aims to strengthen the position of young people working in this field. Through the annual The Future is Heritage-event, the network strives for creating a more inclusive, sustainable, and more equal European heritage sector where both new and established individuals collaborate intensively.

The Future is Heritage network had been founded by Erfgoed Brabant in 2017. Erfgoed Gelderland acts as the main initiator of the project since 2021. The network is supported by several partner institutions including Europa Nostra, ESACH, Europeana and The European Heritage Tribune, and is made possible by Dutch Culture.
